Hi all - well, plans are in place and prints are in the press as I'm prepping for the next round of shows.
BALTIMORE COMICON - Oct 10-11 - looks like a great show, with a very worthy guest list:
www.comicon.com/baltimore/&nbs… only will it be a great show, but also the Harvey Awards banquet will be held on Saturday evening to doll out nods to comics and creators alike for outstanding achievement in 2009.
BOSTON COMICON - Oct 24-25 - also a really good lineup here,
www.bostoncomiccon.com/ , with Tim Sale, Herb Trimpe, Bill Sienkewicz, Khoi Pham, David Mack, Mike McKone and many more. Looking forward to checking out the town and hanging out with the locals.
PORTLAND COMIC BOOK SHOW - Nov 15 -
www.portlandcomicbookshow.com/ for a one day show, this one is always chalk full of creators, as so many are local to Portland and Seattle, with a fair amount of rotating guests from around the country as well. It's always a fun road trip for us and we're looking forward to it.
What I'll have:
Tons of prints, both black & white and color, a lot of what you see in my gallery here I sell and sign as prints at shows, 11x17 - $5 for black & white, $10 color
I still have a small cache of my 2009 sketchbooks available at $10 - they come loaded with over 50 images on 32 pages and a blank back jacket where I slam down any character's head shot you'd like.
And of course I'll be doing con sketches, probably my favorite part of shows. The real quick versions, sketchy sketchy here, start at $40.
And keep in mind I do commissions and it so happens that I have about 2 weeks of work ahead of me at the moment, so some slots are opening up real quick. Just drop me a line here or send me an email at jlmetcalf21@hotmail.com and we'll get things set up.
Also, if you're planning on attending any of these shows and would like to have a sketch done, I am taking pre-orders so I can service as many as possible once I'm behind the table at the cons. Just let me know
Be well, take care, and keep your lead on your paper!
